After working on f8 2011, I became interested in trying to apply some of the same ideas I’d learned in Processing to the web. Working on and off for months, I built this experimental version of my website. Every time the page loads, all of the thumbnail placements and connection lines are generated on the fly. The connection lines are color coded based on category tags. For me it was an incredible technical challenge to get it all working, but ultimately I felt it wasn’t the best way to display my work so I didn’t release it.
